Meet the Team Behind Your Care

Dr. Irene Yaymadjian is the Founder and Clinical Director of the Child & Family Development Center. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

Dr. Irene's work is rooted in psychodynamic, attachment-based, Jungian, and family systems approaches, with specialized expertise in trauma, addiction, perinatal mental health, and autism services through her background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Dr. Irene also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University, where she enjoys mentoring and inspiring the next generation of therapists. In addition, she is the Founder and Clinical Director of Hillside Wellness Center, a nonprofit mental health organization in Sherman Oaks committed to making quality mental health care more accessible while providing exceptional clinical training and community support.

At the heart of Dr. Irene's work is a simple belief: every person deserves to feel seen, understood, and supported. Whether she is working with a child, guiding a family through life's challenges, or mentoring future clinicians, her goal is to create meaningful relationships that foster resilience, growth, and lasting healing.

Dr. Veronika Glusker is a licensed clinical psychologist and clinical supervisor trained in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. She uses an integrative approach that helps clients become unstuck from long standing concerns and gently work through the patterns that hold them back.

Dr. Glusker earned her doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Wright Institute Los Angeles, working with individuals and couples across a wide range of concerns. Her work anchors the center's couples therapy and supervision.

Racquel Garry is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who supports clients through trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. With specialized training in somatic therapy and experience as a death doula, she offers a holistic approach that honors the connection between mind and body.

Racquel draws on polyvagal informed care, nervous system regulation, trauma focused therapy, parts work, and strength based methods to help clients heal and build resilience. Her individual therapy is warm, collaborative, and paced to each person's needs.

Nikki Ornelas is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and relational challenges. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in trauma.

Her approach is collaborative, supportive, and trauma informed. Drawing on existential perspectives, Nikki helps clients explore their experiences, build meaningful coping strategies, and grow in insight, resilience, and self understanding.
