Dr. Irene Yaymadjian is the Founder and Clinical Director of the Child & Family Development Center. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Dr. Irene's work is rooted in psychodynamic, attachment-based, Jungian, and family systems approaches, with specialized expertise in trauma, addiction, perinatal mental health, and autism services through her background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Dr. Irene also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University, where she enjoys mentoring and inspiring the next generation of therapists. In addition, she is the Founder and Clinical Director of Hillside Wellness Center, a nonprofit mental health organization in Sherman Oaks committed to making quality mental health care more accessible while providing exceptional clinical training and community support.
At the heart of Dr. Irene's work is a simple belief: every person deserves to feel seen, understood, and supported. Whether she is working with a child, guiding a family through life's challenges, or mentoring future clinicians, her goal is to create meaningful relationships that foster resilience, growth, and lasting healing.
